Cambridge Young Learners English Test (YLE)

The Cambridge Young Learners English Tests are designed to offer a comprehensive approach to testing the English of primary learners between the ages of 7 and 12. Tests are designed to make learning fun and children are encouraged by working towards certificates and earning the 'shields' that record their progress. There are three levels for children to work through, Starters, Movers and Flyers, with Starters being the first, aimed at young children with very basic skills.

Key English Test (KET)

The Cambridge Key English Test (KET) is the first level of Cambridge exams in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). KET recognises the ability to cope with everyday written and spoken communications at a basic level.

Preliminary English Test ( PET)

The Cambridge Key English Test (KET) is the second level of Cambridge exams in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). PET is an exam for people who can use everyday written and spoken English at an intermediate level. PET covers the four main language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking, as well as assessing grammar and vocabulary, testing with material from real life situations.

First Certificate in English (FCE)

The Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE) is the third level of the Cambridge exams in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). FCE is an exam for people who can use everyday written and spoken English at an upper-intermediate level. It is recognised by many universities and other educational institutions as proof of intermediate level English skills, and these institutions accept it as meeting part of their entrance requirements.

IELTS

IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication. It covers the four languages skills listening, reading, writing and speaking.

IELTS is recognised by universities and employers in many countries, including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States. It is also recognised by professional bodies, immigration authorities and other government agencies
